How Our Dog Training Works
Our dogs are trained at our farm in western North Carolina using principles based on Schutzhund, a dog sport that helps determine if German shepherds have what it takes to become working dogs. The traits we look for include intelligence, a protective instinct, trainability, a desire to work and courage. We choose to work with this breed because they’re known for being good working dogs with stable temperaments. Once our dogs are fully trained, they’re available for sale to families looking for a protection dog. You don’t have to drive up to our farm to pick up your dog — instead, we’ll bring your dog to you in South Carolina. We’ll even stay for a couple of days to make sure that your new family member gets settled in and used to their new surroundings.
