Adding a dog to your life can sound like one more responsibility piled onto an already overloaded routine. A Fully Trained Adult does the opposite. It sets you free.
This is the finished product. With a Fully Trained Adult, what you see is what you get. There is no waiting to find out whether a puppy's working ability will develop, and no months of obedience work ahead of you. These dogs are typically eighteen to thirty-six months old, finished in off-leash obedience around a multitude of real-life distractions, and worked extensively in the protection phases. They arrive knowing the job.
What "fully trained" means here. There are people who will sell you a dog with a few weeks of obedience and call it a protection dog. That is not what this page is. Every Fully Trained Adult we offer has been evaluated from the womb, raised and trained by my Award Winning staff — some of whom have been with me for more than thirty years — and proofed in the protection phases against the situations a family actually faces. An alarm when it matters. A threat when it matters. And ninety-nine percent of the time, a playful, controllable companion at your feet.
Where they come from. We breed heralded German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois males from Europe's top working programs to imported females with significant working accomplishments of their own. It is some of the finest genetic material available anywhere in the world, and it is here in North Carolina. We have competed against the best trainers in the world with dogs from our own program, and won. The dog that goes home with you is that same caliber.
Who this age group is for. The Fully Trained Adult is our highest investment, and it is the right choice when you want the training done before the dog walks through your door: a family that needs a working dog now, not in a year; a busy household without the time for a Trained Adolescent's development; or anyone who simply wants the best we make. If you'd rather grow into a dog and invest less up front, look at our Trained Adolescents — it's the age group I steer many families toward. But if you want turnkey, this is it.
Price. Fully Trained Adults are priced from $45,000 to $65,000, depending on the dog's level of training and accomplishment. Availability is limited; we finish only a handful of adults at a time. If a dog on this page interests you, call our office and reserve your selection.

My name is Wayne Simanovich, and I have been training protection dogs passionately since 1978. I have competed against the world's premier dogs and handlers across six countries, and I've placed dogs with Fortune 500 executives, government officials, politicians, entertainers, and elite athletes. But the placements that matter most are the ones like yours - families who simply want to feel safe at home.

I founded this company in 1978 - before most of my competitors were born - and I still personally select all genetic material for breeding and set the standard every dog has to meet. But I don't do this alone. My staff spends months with each dog, day in and day out. Some of them have been with me for more than thirty years. They are a big part of why this standard holds, and it hasn't moved in 48 years.

Call or send the form. We'll set up a private consultation and learn about your household, children, pets, property, and what you need the dog to do.

We match the dog to you.
My team recommends a specific dog based on temperament and suitability — not simply what's available. You are always welcome to visit our facility in Conover, meet the team, and work with the dog.

Delivery and handler training.
Depending on what suits you, a trainer delivers your Fully Trained Adult and works with your family in your own environment, or you come to us in Conover and train with the dog and our staff before taking him home. Either way, the dog transfers to you the way it was trained.

What To Expect with a trained protection dog
Health
A Fully Trained Adult is a young dog in its prime — vibrant, strong, with a responsive immune system, and past the vaccination stage. Before a dog is ever bred in our program, we screen the breeding partners for congenital health defects and radiograph hips and elbows. Good health starts with the genetic material, and we start there.
